AgilePM / DSDM

AgilePM combines the rigour and visibility of a structured project management approach with the agility, speed and flexibility of Agile development, based on the DSDM (Dynamic Systems Development Method) framework.

Overview

AgilePM® is based on DSDM (Dynamic Systems Development Method), which is an agile project delivery framework that bridges the gap between business agility and governance. Unlike some agile methods, AgilePM works within existing project management structures, making it highly compatible with PRINCE2 and other traditional methods. It prioritises collaboration, frequent delivery, and iterative development while maintaining quality and commercial focus.

Key Principles

  • Focus on the business need
  • Deliver on time
  • Collaborate
  • Never compromise quality
  • Build incrementally from firm foundations
  • Develop iteratively
  • Communicate continuously and clearly
  • Demonstrate control
